I do have a slight bias here - I am a massive fan of the John Butler Trio. When I heard that the line-up was changing again, after the success of the wonderful "Grand National", I was interested to see what the result would be. Some JBT fans were upset, others curious. They need not fear though, for the Trio have served up something very good.

Quite frankly, this situation is ridiculous. There is no major other team in world cricket which uses imports to the extent that England does - even more concerning considering they created the sport. What have their acadamies been doing for...

Look, I know everyone can get a bit peckish from time to time, but trying to eat a cricket ball as though it was a fruit of some kind is probably going just a wee bit far, no?

It's a shame too, as Afridi had been offering some good captaincy. Who knows, maybe he was the solution of Pakistan's ever-present captaincy difficulties. But how's he going to captain the team from the stands? Devouring leather won't get his team any victories....

It can only go downhill from here.
