The Pakistan Cricket Board has ensured none of its players will be taking part in the 2010 Indian Premier League, by revoking the no-objection certificates that were needed to take part.

All the Pakistan players put up for auction were snubbed by the IPL teams, in what the Pakistan board suggested was a conspiracy. But recent reports suggested one or two players might get a gig.

Ijaz Butt, the chairman of the PCB, is making sure that won't happen.

"No Pakistani player will go to the IPL this time. Why should we allow them to go? They didn't pick any of the players and it was an insult to us. Why should we let one or two players go? We will not take this lying down," he said.

The 2010 version of the IPL will be the third edition of the tournament that hasn't attracted much worldwide interest, except from former players looking to top up their retirement funds.

I agree with ubaid javed 1 because pakistan have good players and most of them make up the team and if those players dont play the teams with have less players.

oh come on stop this ijaz butt is a curropt man and he knows nothing about cricket. the players were getting oppourtunity they should have gone. Abdul razzaq is one of the best allrounder in the world, he is not gettin any place in the team because of politics so he should have gone into IPL
