That's a story we've heard before - except this time, the offence was committed in front of Channel 9's 36 cameras, and spotted immediately by the third umpire and commentary team. And this time Umpire Hair had nothing to do with it and Inzi wouldn't have been justified in walking off. Shahid Afridi admitted the charge and, as such, has been slapped with a ban for two Twenty20 games. It's not the first time he's been banned - a few years ago he copped a ban for damaging the pitch on purpose. It wasn't just the umpires being kept busy at the WACA. As you'll see in the clip below, the security staff are going to cop one hell of a bollocking for allowing a spectator to run on to the field and tackle Khalid Latif.
