A thrilling clash between two evenly-matched players resulted in a fantastic game, and the closest match in this tournament so far.

2557 took to the stage first, brandishing his bat much like a soldier does his sword. He battled fiercely and hard, but he struggled to muster enough boundaries, and couldn't covert enough shots to maximums. He felt dis-satisfied his his final score of 246, and indeed it did seem lower than was needed to win this.

And so out came Wogs, a player largely under-rated but still talented enough. Though he actually ended up scoring less 6s than 2557, he scored boundaries and runs overall more consistently, and on a seam-friendly pitch he sneaked past 2557's score by a measly 10 runs.

Definitely an exciting game to say the least. 2557's bonus point from losing by a margin of 10 gives him a slim chance of qualifying, but it's Wogs who takes yet another step towards the Super Groups stage. Till next time folks.
