Re: Indian Premier League 2010

80 runs for KKR in the last six overs.
Owais Shah and Angelo Mathews starring in that performance. It was supposedly the best 5th wicket partnership in the IPL.
Deccan still have the firepower to chase that target down.
This match might go any way now, while some time ago it was Deccan who was in the driver's seat.

----------

Gilchrist has been lucky many a time, yet he progresses with might, marching to his 50.He is thrashing the bowlers all around the park. However he has been well assisted by the KKR fielders, who have carried on their pathetic fielding form from the previous season.
There was a catching contest for the spectators there in the break, and those people seemed to do better than the KKR fielders. They are fielding like a bunch of school kids.
The Deccan Chargers surely on top.Exactly the way I wanted it to be.

Sir Garry Sobers said he was a great fan of the IPL and watched almost all the matches in the previous seasons! Some great patrons for the IPL.

Gwan Knight Riders

Angelo Mathews is a wonderful man. And yes, those cheerleaders need to be troubled into some sort of pregnancy.

Re: Indian Premier League 2010

Meh managed to get home to watch the last 5 overs of the KKR innings and the whole Chargers innings and I have to say for my first IPL match it was dissapointing, the excitement I had of watching Gilchrist and Gibbs put the attack to the sword was let down when Laxman opened. When Gibbs did come to the crease he didn't stick around for long enough. Then it all sort of collapsed on itself. What with the irritating trumpeter, the constant ad breaks and the bizarre pitch-side of anaylisis that involved asking Gibbs what side the bat would land on for him to get runs....
