The All-NBA NRL Team.

dark_Shadow_ May 18, 2010 (Abandon Hope All Ye Who Enter Here.)
As some of you may know by now, I have officially declared myself an NRL widow until Ricky Stuart either gets fired or quits, or Trent Barrett gets shot or leaves. While I still love rugby league and will watch State of Origin and the test matches, I can't bring myself to give a toss about the NRL when my favourite team treats their fans so shoddily.

However, I decided that I may as well grant the game that I've had so much fun with (both as a player and a fan) one last blog before...

Top 10 moments of the decade

The Bunyip December 24, 2009 (The Bunyip's Blog)

First things first: this is a very personal list. I’m not claiming that these moments, as special as they were to me, are the most significant 10 sporting moments of the decade. They’re clearly not. Usain Bolt would no doubt top many lists; Liverpool fans would no doubt wax lyrical about the goings on in Istanbul in 2005 (beats thinking about their 2009 predicament, I guess) while Gooners would claim Arsenal’s unbeaten run of 48 games is worthy of a spot. Friday Five: Mascots, drunkards and bros

The Bunyip September 24, 2009 (The Bunyip's Blog)
It's AFL Grand Final week down under, which means it's Brownlow week - an excuse for everyone, other than those playing in the decider, to get royally drunk. Brendan Fevola, who was supposed to spend the night doing interviews with drunkards for Channel Nine, perhaps took it a bit too far...

Next time you find yourself giving someone a piggy back while wearing a mascot suit, you should probably get the person you're...

Substandard Forward Pack is Wallabies' Undoing

kirby September 8, 2009 (Pad First)
Yeah, I know we won the other night, but this still needs to be said: the Wallabies' forward pack is rubbish. Up until our first Tri-Nations win this season, against the Springboks on Saturday night, our forwards had been frequently out-scrummaged, had been smashed at the breakdown, could barely keep their own lineout let alone steal the opposition's, and we subsequently lost. Now the forwards must take note that they're not out of the woods just because they won: nothing can disguise the fact that...
