Defending Don Fabio and Talking Technology

Choob June 29, 2010 (Confessions of an Idiot.)

"BRING ON THE GERMANS", screamed the media after England destroyed Slovenia 1-0. Finally, England were going to end their 40 years of hurt and coast to the World Cup final.

Or that's what you'd believe if you pay attention to the media here. It's no wonder that England are unpopular once you ask people that live outside of this stinking island.

And now they call for Capello's head. What has happened to football in Britain? Why is sacking the manager the answer...

How Farcical Is This!?

kirby May 15, 2010 (Pad First)
Just a very quick word against the farce that is the World Twenty20 tournament.

Not only is it's exceedingly minimal amount of meaning being astoundingly diminished by this tournament being the 3rd in 3 or 4 years (compared to a proper World Cup every four years), but the peculiar case of the English side has just absolutely destroyed the tournament's credibility.

Where exactly is all the English talent?

Hey, did you hear Michael Lumb has been selected for that saturated run-fest called the Twenty20 World Cup?

Have a guess where he's from?

He's playing for England, you see, so therefore he comes from Johannesberg.

Quite frankly, this situation is ridiculous. There is no major other team in world cricket which uses imports to the extent that England does - even more concerning considering they created the sport. What have their acadamies been doing for...

Three Reasons why Bangladesh will win the Test

Jawsey March 21, 2010 (The Jaws Corner)
It’s Day 2 of the Second Test between Bangladesh and England, and Bangladesh have themselves in a fairly strong position. All out for an excellent 419, their third highest score in Tests, and have reduced England to a precarious 171-3. Now don’t get me wrong, I am usually by nature a stout England fan, but I really think that Bangladesh have a reall shot at tieing the series and making a little bit of history. After all, they have yet to beat England in any format. So without further ado, here are...
