One Letter Short of the Truth

kirby July 3, 2010 (Pad First)

This summarises exactly what is wrong with world cricket. We all should know by now that the nomination of John Howard for Vice President and ultimately President of the International Cricket Councial put forth by the joint region of Australia and New Zealand has been vetoed by the true powerbrokers of world cricket. As yet no true rationalisation has been given for Howard's non-appointment.

Before I take a look at...

Why don’t Aussies like 20/20 much?

Jawsey May 15, 2010 (The Jaws Corner)
I made an intriguing observation the other day, as us bloggers on this site gathered to discuss bloggy matters. In the past we've featured quite a few goals that, put simply, would be easier to score than to screw up. Yet this one, surely, tops the lot.

And if there's...

Friday Five: Lego, Lady Gaga and porn's final frontier

The Bunyip April 23, 2010 (The Bunyip's Blog)

Hello and welcome to another edition of the Friday Five, where our goal is simply to help you bring the joy of Beer O'Clock just that little bit closer.

1. Who needs to bother watching the Champions League in real life, when you've got dedicated fans (read: those with no social life, or any chance of even having a conversation with a member of the opposite sex this century) who are willing to provide scarily realistic reenactment vids?? With lego. The model of Rooney sure does look...
