I slept with all the admins and all I got was this lousy blog.

The All-NBA NRL Team.

dark_Shadow_ May 18, 2010
As some of you may know by now, I have officially declared myself an NRL widow until Ricky Stuart either gets fired or quits, or Trent Barrett gets shot or leaves. While I still love rugby league and will watch State of Origin and the test matches, I can't bring myself to give a toss about the NRL when my favourite team treats their fans so shoddily.

However, I decided that I may as well grant the game that I've had so much fun with (both as a player and a fan) one last blog before...

I don't need to recap the Storm saga - everyone knows it. If you don't and you care about the NRL, get your arse Googling and slap yourself for living under a rock.

On the night it all broke, I sat down with the family to watch The Footy Show, where Phil (Gouldie, as he's known in our house) Gould was a guest panelist.

dark_Shadow_ April 4, 2010
Recently I discovered that they're remaking the classic arcade game NBA Jam for a new generation. While this may not mean much to you guys, I remember spending many hours in a California arcade as a kid visiting my cousins on NBA Jam. Hell, I think I spent most of that holiday there.

Anyway, while channel-surfing between the Cowboys-Titans footy match and the Jazz-Lakers NBA clash, it hit me.

What if there was an NRL arcade game?

I immediately started...

Expansion is a dirty word to many sports fans. However, if there was ever a professional sporting league that is crying out for it, it's the NRL.

Currently, nine of the sixteen teams in the league are primarily based in Sydney (including the Dragons). When you include Canberra and Newcastle, you can see the stranglehold NSW holds over the league. This wouldn't be a problem but for two reasons:
1) Many of said Sydney clubs are making a loss, including my Sharks.
2) The AFL's...
