Okay, I may sound like I'm jumping on the bandwagon here, but there is just no way that anyone can say that Tendulkar was better than Bradman. It is an impossibility. And before you say "you're an Aussie," I'm not. I'm a pom. After reading Kirby and Shadow's arguments, it seems that there is no reasoned argument in favour of Bradman and a variety of arguments in favour of Tendulkar, I am putting my opinion out there for the world.

Let's begin with a quote:

"Bradman...

It is clear just from flicking on the TV to the Australia / West Indies ODI that there is less and less market for ODIs. It isn't that there is anything wrong with the fifty over format - it has worked well for well over thirty years - but that there is simply too much cricket being played. I think that this is because of the three kinds of fans that cricket attracts:

Tragics - Fans who used to be able to go to every game, but now can't afford it.
Purists - Fans who love test...

PAKISTAN

The Pakistan side cannot complain as they are on their way to a comprehensive defeat of Australia, but I can still se a few ways in which their side could be made much stronger, and my theory affects these three men: Hasan Raza, Younis Khan and Kamran Akmal. Enjoy my second blog of the day.

Raza played test cricket for Pakistan aged 14. Now nearly twice as old, he averages nearly 50 in first class cricket in Pakistan. Although he never really produced in internationals,...

Following the questionable response to my most recent blog entry, I have decided that the time is write to select one more best XI: the best eleven players from the last decade. I will use only their stats from matches in this decade as a judge - for example, Andy Flower played 63 tests in his career, but only 24 in the 2000s. Therefore, they would be the stats used in this article.

VIRENDER SEHWAG - India
6248 runs @ 52.50 in 72 matches

Virender Sehwag's...

This is the last of my Format Best XI blogs - the test match XI. It is the format where picking a best XI is impossible due to the many eras the game has seen. To begin with, in the years leading up to 1920 test matches were scarce, where as now players may play anywhere up to fifteen test matches per year. As a result, I have picked the most formidable XI I could compile. This means no Tendulkar, no Lara, and no Ponting who aren't in the same league as Bradman, Ponsford or Richards.
