Fancy a drive in the snow? Before you go all old fashioned and whack some chains on your tyres, you might want to check out this new solution to the age old snow driving problem.

US rally driver Ken Block has got to work on a Subaru Impreza WRX STI, modding the hell out of it in a bid to make it snow-worthy.

The result is the Trax STI, probably the only vehicle of its type in the world. Boasting cat tracks and beefed up suspension, allowing it to glide through snow and ice more gracefully than Steven Bradbury.

So, if you're hitting the slopes this Christmas and you have a lot of spare dosh and time on your hands, why not make yourself one?
