Afridi banned for ball biting

A Pakistan player has been accused of ball tampering.
That's a story we've heard before - except this time, the offence was committed in front of Channel 9's 36 cameras, and spotted immediately by the third umpire and commentary team. And this time Umpire Hair had nothing to do with it and Inzi wouldn't have been justified in walking off. Shahid Afridi admitted the charge and, as such, has been slapped with a ban for two Twenty20 games. It's not the first time he's been banned - a few years ago he copped a ban for damaging the pitch on purpose. It wasn't just the umpires being kept busy at the WACA. As you'll see in the clip below, the security staff are going to cop one hell of a bollocking for allowing a spectator to run on to the field and tackle Khalid Latif. PCB chairman Ijaz Butt has told the Sydney Morning Herald he'll be taking up the issue with the International Cricket Council. Both incidents can be seen here: Full story |

Oh my GOD! What is wrong with him? Really I did not expect this from AFRIDI! He was always acting to be so religious and all and now he is insulting Pakistan and Islam in front of the whole world! Shame on Shahid Afridi! He should be banned for all T20's during his life; rather all cricket matches during his life

hey man its not afridi's fault its a big game of politics afridi said sorry to the authorities and the nation but still he will be seated for two twenty twenty matches and pakistan will also lose the two twenty twenty matches
just think afridi is a well experienced cricketer he knows that there are 36 cameras from which he is being captured so he cant do this type of thing |
