Friday Five: Tricking Terry and a mechanical bull

The Bunyip 3 Days Ago (The Bunyip's Blog)
John Terry seems like a very nice chap. We weren't surprised to see him gladly sign an autograph for his dedicated fans... but do they trick him into apologising to Wayne Bridge?

If you're not glued to the TV watching what will no doubt be one fascinating Bangladesh-England series, there's a far less exciting competition known as the IPL also starting today. Here's a reminder of just...

The WAG wagging the Pup

The Bunyip 6 Days Ago (The Bunyip's Blog)

Something has happened to cricket over the past few years that has threatened team unity and stolen headlines away from the most important aspects of the game - as it heads further and further down the road of copying football's example.

And no, I'm not talking about Twenty20.

I am talking about the odious creature known as the WAG: the admittedly easy-on-the-eye partners that have ended up hogging more of the media spotlight than...

Anyway, I think I speak for the entire cricketing world when I say kudos to the Little Master. If any cricketer deserved the record, he did. Very few batsmen in the modern age have been able to match his consistency, style and technique on the field while carrying themselves with such grace and poise off the field. All this while often...

MS Dhoni: Really?

Stewie 3 Weeks Ago (Stewie: Stick Sport's little World Dominator)
Updated 2 Weeks Ago at 09:54 AM by Stewie
So I heard about this guy called Mahendra Singh Dhoni (or have been for the last 5 years). ICC say he is the world's best currently. And, Gavaskar has gone a step ahead in saying he is on his way to become an all-time great in ODIs (on one of the reputed national news channels in India). That, and, he compared Dhoni's fantastic innings of 124 in Nagpur to Kapil Dev's 175 not out against Zimbabwe in the famous 1983 World Cup (20th Match: India v Zimbabwe at Tunbridge Wells, Jun 18, 1983 | Cricket Scorecard | Cricinfo.com)....
